Our Story
Four founders. Four families. Countless conversations that all ended the same way.
Our grandparents were making donations to charities none of us recognized. Bills were going unpaid for months before anyone noticed. And our parents were juggling three or four different bank portals just to get a basic picture of their own parents' financial health.
These weren't one-off stories. We kept hearing them, from our parents, from their friends, from anyone navigating the quiet complexity of caring for someone they love. The tools to help simply didn't exist.
But the stories went further than aging parents. We were handing teenagers their first debit cards and feeling that particular knot: wanting to give them independence, but knowing we'd only find out if something went sideways after the fact. We were in households where one person quietly carried the weight of every account and bill, while the other slowly lost the thread.
Every family we talked to had a version of this story. Someone they cared about. A financial blind spot. And no purpose-built way to close it.
So we built CoveyFi.
What's in the name
They don't scatter. They stay connected, aware of each other, in formation. When one falls behind, the others notice.
The Team
I believe the best technology quietly makes hard things easier. That's what we're building.
I love building software and I've always been drawn to hard problems. When I discovered what family caregivers were quietly carrying, and the toll it takes on the people they love, I knew this was the problem worth solving.
My grandparents have Alzheimer's and dementia. My parents are their caregivers, and I watched them manage the financial piece with no real system, just guesswork and worry. Building something that changes that felt like the only problem worth working on.
I've spent my adult life watching over the generation before me and the one after, familiar with the background noises of guilt and worry that come with it. I've spent my career building systems to solve real problems. Using modern tools to help families protect their loved ones without overstepping, and without consuming the caregiver's time, is the one I've always wanted to build.
Our Mission
